Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

MandA-IT is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of our business . It is absolutely the right thing to do and we aim to take sustained and concerted action against such acts.

Our supply chains

Our supply chain includes large multinational organisations, publicly owned bodies as well as a range of small and medium sized suppliers providing goods, services and works for the MandA-IT.

To ensure all suppliers within our extended supply chain comply with our values, we have in place a Supply Chain Charter. This reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing appropriate systems and controls.

Our policies on slavery and human trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Supply Chain Charter sets out our expectations from the supply chain to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.

We make our best endeavours through:

• Acting with integrity and ethically in all business relations

• Having effective systems and controls in place, to identify and eliminate Slavery or Human Trafficking in any part of our business and supply chain.

Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking

Purchases will be made from suppliers on our approved supplier list (ASL).

Training

The senior management team have been briefed on the Modern Slavery Act and an all staff notice has been issued to all employees to alert them of the requirements.

We are committed to equipping our staff to apply our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.

Further steps

Annual review of the effectiveness of the steps we have taken to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains.

we Also intend to take the following further steps to combat against modern slavery and human trafficking: -

  • High risk procurements will be subject to additional modern slavery questions.

  • We will roll-out modern slavery awareness training to all are staff.

  • We will require all our subsidiaries to make annual modern slavery and human trafficking statements;

  • We are reviewing our relevant policies, including the Supply Chain Charter and Speak Up Policy to ensure they remain fit for purpose.

    This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 March 2023. It was approved by the board on 01 February 2022.
